Our Mission and Vision

Human Resources Promoting IT

As mentioned before, the urgently needed human resources for IT reform are business engineers and project managers, who are required to have comprehensive knowledge of more than two specialized fields. Designing programs and curriculum enterprise-oriented with "pioneer spirit" and "innovative vision," the KCGI believes that we can train and produce excellent human resources for the IT industry.

The small and medium-sized enterprises are in a serious situation, and have neither extra financial resources nor time to build its own educational and training system for their employees. This lack of human resources is considered to be a cause of delay in the transition to the digital society, failure to keep up with global IT and business trends, and ultimately result in bankruptcy.

Only a small percent of the small and medium-sized enterprise workers are experts in business engineering, and there is a serious shortage of several hundred thousand of business engineers. Even though the world’s best infrastructure of the fiber optics is completed in Japan, without solving this issue of human resource shortage, Japan cannot be a world class IT nation. Moreover, Japanese economic recovery relies on those small and medium enterprises, and thus the potential social contribution of the KCGI, as an institution that aims to train and produce highly specialized IT professionals, is significantly important.
