Special guest lecture events of the 50th anniversary will be held in Sapporo on Feb. 19

In commemoration of the foundation 50th anniversary of Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) and foundation tenth anniversary of The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and establishment first anniversary of the KCGI Sapporo satellite, a commemorative lecture will be held at Hotel Okura Sapporo from 16:00 on Tuesday, February 19. The title of the lecture is "Let's send from Sapporo to the world".

The two lecturers are:

  1. Lecture titled “University-industry research collaboration of the IT-present, past, and future of Sapporo Valley” by Professor Tsuyoshi Yamamoto of Hokkaido University graduate school Lecture is about development of university-industry research collaboration of the IT in Sapporo and the prospect.
  2. Hiroyuki Ito, the president of Crypton Future Media, Inc., that is famous for a vocaloid “HATUNE MIKU”, will talk about the present, past, and future of the movement which vocaloid “HATUNE MIKU” was affected.

The lecture is free. A social gathering will be held after the lecture. (Fee: 3,000 yen, student 1,000 yen)
