The president (provost) family of Teachers College, Columbia University visited Kyoto Ekimae Campus. The provost, Dr. Thomas James visited with his wife, Dr. Regina Cortina, who teaches in Teachers College and his son, Alex James, who teaches English in Okayama. They observed KCG facilities such as KCG Computer historical museum, sixth floor classic concert hall which is one of the best sound quality hall in western part of Japan, and e-learning studio in KCGI. Teachers College is a graduate school of Education in Columbia University. Dr. Thomas James had a talk with Wataru Hasegawa, CEO of the KCG Group, about what American and Japanese education should be in the future. Dr. James especially remarked that e-learning has a great effect on education; there will be more changes on education method in the future.
