KCGI accepted people from Vietnam for five days workshop on database.

The training for the staff of database use authorities of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was started from August 21. This training was a part of "national biological diversity database system development project" (school year 2011-2015) by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). KCG teachers taught following courses; ▽Management of Windows server, ▽Database systems ▽Database construction training, ▽Database management.

This is part of our IDCE (International Development of Computer Education) projects. IDCE was first initiated in 1988 with 3,000 computers to donate, there were many countries in which public access to computer technology was limited or non-existent. IDCE was designed for such countries to give the public, at large, access to simple computers, to teach them basic computer skills, and to promote COMPUTER EDUCATION AS LITERACY.
