KCGI News

Two overseas students of KCGI passed the "SAP authorization consultant" examination. It is the first time that overseas students studying in Japan passed it. It is a qualifying examination which ERP package production world largest company, SAP*１ authorizes. When you acquire it, you can carry a consulting service to be necessary when companies introduce ERP system * 2. These two splendid achievements that they got over the language barrier and passed the examination which is said to be difficult even for Japanese businessmen to pass are encouragement for not only the other overseas students but also students.

The students who passed the examination are Mr.Kotai Haku (28 years old,　born in Taipei , Taiwan, a Chinese Culture University graduate, graduated from KCGI in March 2008, currently working at IT service team of Sanyo Electric company Ltd.) and Mr. Kaka Chin (22 years old, born in Zejiang, China, a Tianjin University of Science and Technology graduate, and currently KCGI second year). They passed the examination last February. Mr. Haku was at KCGI at the time.

They entered KCGI to study cutting-edge practical IT and corporate management in Japan, and learnt ERP system which displays power in company management, and bent to their study to obtain the qualification especially concerning ERP system made by SAP that major companies all over the world introduce among ERP system. Though they had difficulties that Exam questions were asked in Japanese, they achieved their goal with KCGI teacher's support.

Mr. Haku has already gotton a job which he can make the most of the qualification, and Mr Chin received a job offer from the same company as Mr. Haku. They both said, "From now on I want to make use of skills and be active in the world."

KCGI has introduced SAP's ERP system "R / 3" for education and training. There are no educational institutions that introduced it but KCGI. Typically, you need to take training program organized by SAP for 5 weeks to get the qualification. Many business man in Japan are challenging it. KCGI has the same level lectures as this training program, and you can learn it thoroughly for a year. In 2007, in addition to them, four Japanese students passed SAP authorization consultant examination.

Headquarter is in Germany.　The world largest company of ERP（enterprise resource planning） system manufacturer. Approximately 20000 the world's leading companies have introduced the system, and SAP has more than 50 % market share in Japan. Founded in 1972.

*ERP system

It is software that manages basic business and promotes efficiency in management. The system enables logistics (parts and products management), financial accounting, centralized management of data such as personnel. When companies introduce it, verification of business process and consulting for standardization are required.
