Conclusion of agreement for mutual cooperation with Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology

The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics concluded agreement for mutual cooperation with Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology (President Ishijima), an IT professional graduate school similar to KCGI to enhance the fostering of highly trained IT or informatics experts.


Purpose of Conclusion of the Agreement

Both schools share various views on issues involved in fostering highly trained IT or informatics experts and aim to find solutions through academic and research exchange...


Agreement is mainly based on the follwoing:

  • Academic and faculty development・research exchange
  • Academic and research conferences
  • Development and mutual use of instructional materials
  • Highly-specialized educational and research development activities
  • Student exchange etc.

It was built by Tokyo Metropolitan University based on the ideas of creating new value, and fostering highly-trained technical specialists with motivation and ability that contributes to industry through the use of professional knowledge and systematic technological know-how. The consolidated enrollment capacity is 200. It consists of Information architecture course (established in April 2006), fostering "information architects", super players in the information field; and, Creative technology course (established in April 2008), fostering "creative or monozukuri architects" who bring innovation as designers of sensibility and function.
