Murata Boy, the bicycle-riding robot was developed as the company PR robot of the Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd.. Not only active in the exhibition circles, Murata Boy visits schools with a catch phrase Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd. “Science boys and girls”, and making an effort to contribute to reversing children’s indifference to science. The lecturer speaks about the development of the robot, the problems the development team encountered and technical explanations with a live demonstration of Murata Boy.
